Canon L3

October 1957 - December 1958

Production: 12975 units
Serial numbers: 529000 - 592000

The Canon L3 is a rangefinder camera that uses 35mm film and was introduced by Canon in 1957. It was designed as a simplified version of the Canon L2, built without flash sync and, because of that, it was also much less expensive. The place of the usual outlet was blanked by a screw-in plug, and the arrangement in the shutter dial area was identical to that of the L2.
